Narcotics Agency is a non-ministerial government agencies engaged in
the prevention , eradication , abuse and illicit traffic in psychotropic
substances , precursors , and other addictive substances in Indonesia. BNN began in 1971 during the reign of the new order , but at the time it was not considered a serious problem . The
agency arranged vertically to the Provincial Government and the county
or city which are contained in Law No. 35 Year 2009 on Narcotics and
Psychotropic Substances . State
losses resulting from the use of drugs and psychotropic reached 49
trillion , the funds are used for rehabilitation of the addicts in
Indonesia alone reached 4 million people .
